These two advertisements, I created for the Winona Posts Memorial Day Special Section pages. I designed these ads to have patriotic themes with each business’s unique branding. With strong visual hierarchy, clean typography, and symbolic imagery, I created respectful yet engaging promotional pieces for the holiday edition.

For Engrav’s Decorating Center, I wanted the design focused on a heartfelt tribute to military heroes, incorporating elegant typography and a traditional patriotic tone to reinforce the message of remembrance and community appreciation.

For Winona Dispensary, this ad I combined their modern branding with a patriotic message, using bold text placement and balanced spacing to connect themes of freedom, celebration, and remembrance while maintaining a clean, contemporary visual style.

With these ads, I was given a lot of creative freedom from the businesses. They only required a few things from me, which was a lot of fun. I was able to create and layout freely to make some nice ads for the paper.
